Imagine it. You live with your family. A letter comes in the mail. It tells you that one of you is a frakkin skin-job, a dirty Cylon!
Don’t say you haven’t thought about it. We all know you have. Now you can watch it play out. As usual, additional episodes inside. Be sure to get through them all, episode 1.4 is by far the best!
I love the College Humor guys (and gals). There are very few bits they have that have failed to make me laugh.
That said, I’m really happy to see them launch head first into the comedic music video department. It’s about damn time.
Wait… I know they’ve “made it” with their new show on MTV and everything… But I can still post their stuff, right?
Okay, stop reading and press play! Watch “If I Were a Bro!”
Enjoy! Have a great happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And please, don’t hit anybody with a 2×4.
I’ve been wondering for a few weeks what the new hook of the show would be. I mean, they had the whole “Who is the fifth cylon” thing going for so long, I think a lot of people were kind of lost without it.
Not anymore!
“She knows the truth!”
WHAT!?!?! Truth!? Truth about what? Why earth is a radioactive dump? Why the cylons lived there? Why the final five had no idea they were cylons? Why dogs like to fart and pretend that it didn’t happen!?
One thing is for sure… She was able to be reborn and she was nowhere near a resurrection center… At least, not one that we know of. They are still very close to earth, I am guessing there is one there.
Also, I am guessing that by the end of the series we are going to see the end of Galactica. The ship is a dump, falling apart, and they’re already hinting about it.
So what is it people? What’s this big truth that Helen, the final cylon, knows?
As I’m sure you gathered from the post title, I have decided to dedicate every Friday to a video, or series of videos, that I find to be excruciatingly bad.
That’s right. Bad.
I know I promised that ClaytonBoen.com would be dedicated to the great talent found on the Internet, but I’m finding that I learn more from bad works of art than I do from good ones. You can view something good and enjoy it, but when you view something bad there’s something inside of you that had to pick it apart. Something that forces you to say to yourself, “Self, I never want to do what these people did. It’s so bad! I need to figure out what they did wrong so I NEVER do it myself.
So in the inaugural week of Bad Video Friday, I present to you: “Couch Cases”
“Couch Cases” tries to mimic successful shows like “In Treatment” and “Web Therapy”. It doesn’t do a very good job.
But instead of me talking about why its so bad, I want to invite you all to talk about it. What did they do wrong? What would you have done differently? If you’d like, there are a few more episodes inside the post… Watch them all, if you can (I couldn’t).
Have you ever seen a really bad movie or TV show and wondered if they made it bad on purpose? Some movies are so bad they find themselves a strong fanbase and loyal following. An Obvious example, Plan 9 From Outer Space.
But what if your goal is to make something look bad, but be good?
